Lagging when typing out a comment in some threads on mobile

Hello, I'm not sure if has been discussed before, but here's something I found.

So whenever I am typing out a reply to someone on a thread on my phone, it takes a second to really apply whatever I typed out.

Im not sure if that has happened for others, but it's been happening for me.
 
I have not personally experienced this.

What type of phone do you have? What browser are you using?

Sorry for the late reply, but I'm using Google Chrome on my Sony Xperia XZ Premium, it runs Android oreo.

As of right now it's currently lag-free, but when I go to a major discussion thread it starts up again.
 
Does it occur in a particular thread every time?
 
I've had the same problem at random times with my iPhone 6S. It happens rarely for me & im always running the latest iOS update. Can't accurately say the last time it happened though.

I first noticed it over 2 years ago & suspected that it had something to do with heavy internet traffic.
