Well i went to lakeside with a mate last weekend and here are some of the pics plus a video of my mate. His car (the 180sx with silvia front end) came 5th for the entire day, only getting beat by cars on slicks with a lot more power, And they only beat him by 1 second. He was able to beat all the GTR's and most of the EVO's and WRX's you see in these pics.

I've never seen quite so many awesome cars at a track day, was this a particularly large one? It's really great to see Lakeside back in action.
 
Well it also had a muscle car show n shine, so they did parade laps with drag racing down the straight, only the cars in the pits with numbers on them did proper laps.

Did you see the lancer with EVO motor and the 260 with RB30 in it. Crazy cars haha
 
I've never been to Lakeside, been to QR a few times, did a V8 supercar drive out there, but a guy I work with races his motorbike at both Lakeside and QR and he raves about Lakeside. I'm keen to take my car to both when I finish setting it up a bit more. Nice pictures :)

wow awesome!!! there were some abbsolutely sick cars in attendance!!! some of the muscle cars and customs in the show area look pretty well achieved, Australia is hot.

However, my favorite has to be the Marlboro Torana. Those things look AWESOME when fender flared. also, the vintage red Holden reminds me a lot of the Carrera Panamericana cars. Very bad-ass.
