Basically the Reventon of the Gallardo line up. 7-10 units at $3.44 million a piece. Ridiculous, but better news than the Super Trofeo Stradale, personally.

Great car for sure, but i with that price i would prefer to start a taxi company with only GTR R35s 👍.

Speaking of Gallardo, is Lambo at work getting a replacement ready for the bread and butter car of the line-up?

I wonder what the chances are that you could just register a Sesto Elemento as a Gallardo.

I really wish car companies would stop saying "This car will stop being made in 20xx" but then say "But we will make tons of overpriced special editions!"

Why? Money is to be made off these special editions so why not make the business case for it before the model reaches the end of it's production cycle?...

Personally I'd take the Super Trofeo Gallardo over the Sesto Elemento.

Because most special editions only include one or two of the following:
A spoiler
Seat stitching
A new bumper
A 10 - 30 bhp gain
Convertible roof
A new paint
A stripe

Oh, and don't forget to add $50,000 - $500,000 more to the base price

As rumours goes by, it is known that the carbon monocoque used in the Aventador will be very similar ( if not the same ) to the one that is supposed to be used in the next baby lambo.

Many websites are rumouring "Cabrera" as the next nameplate in line to be used by the Italians, just google it and you'll find a lot of predictions, all of them unfortunately lacking evidence.

The power figures are predicted to be in the 600hp range in order to match McLaren's supercar, people are actually predicting a supercharged version of the V10, however Lamborghini's CEO Stephan Winkelmann was asked about downsizing and already stated that forced induction is not on the short term plans for Sant' Agata Bolognese.

My two cents? Test mules haven't yet been spotted, so I guess the car is probably on the project phase.

^Well if they are going to downsize, but want to match the Mac's horsepower rating, they may have to go the forced induction route.

Added torque from a turbo or supercharger is never a handicap. Plus they have the engineering experts at Audi at hand so any problems with forced induction can be sorted out by them.
