[LAMBORGHINI DOOR] HELP from anyone who did lamb door mod on any showcar here!!!

Hello! I greatly need your help and opinion on where to get lamb door mods done on my car for cheap.

Here is a nice site to get LAMB door kits for cheap ($650-$750 usd):

My problem is workmanship for installing. When I called them (STREET DREAMZ), the said $5000 flat fee to get it all done and this may not include parts at all so prepare for over 600 usd extra.

I need your help if you have done these doors before so that you can refer me to your mechanic.

Am in Dayton, OH and I swear am prepared to travel mile and miles away to any state within the 48 us states to get this mod done. I would stay over for some days while its being done.

I just have about a 1000 - 2000 usd budget on these doors and not more.

if you can help me in any way and refer me to a friend that has lamb doors on his showcar or car, pls let me know.

I know a kid from Maryland that currently lives in Mississippi that's planning on getting this done to his Prelude. He said it should cost around $1,500 after all is said and done. If you want, I could talk to him more, and find out where he plans on getting it done, and how much it really is going to cost him...:confused:
 
Oh, so this is to make them scissor doors...so what car do you have by the way?

Thanx men josh, but I think he is just talking about the kit alone, since for his car, usually theres a bolt on kit and thats 1500+ usd alone without workmanship yet.

But if you find out for sure how much he pays for both doors done totally and its really 1500, then I would see if the other place I found for between 2k and 2300 in OHIO would be able to beat the deal which I doubt since they sell their bolt on kit for exactly about 1500+.

Then again if your friend actually wants to buy cheaper, but as effective LAMB door hinges, he should go to that one site I posted above which is here also:

See that way he can get the kit for like 450 w/ s&h or as much as 500 usd only and then with a few mods, it would allow his car to even open wider up to 80 degrees with the newest "Lambo Door Hinge Style 1B-4 $425" kit by AUTODREMZ fits my NISSAN ALTIMA better the sales rep said.

See, my plan is to get that hinge that opens wider for easy entrance and exits, and then goto that place in OHIO and get workmanship done which they told my would take about 8hrs on their kit, but may take a little longer on other kits that are not theres. See the only charge 50 bucks an hr, and if done in 8hrs I only pay 400 for work done, but I want to guess that since its not there kit and even though some basic clear info is produced with kit to help mechanics install it, they should not take longer than 16hrs to get them done since the hinges are not theres and a little different. Now do the math, supposed I got the hinges for 500 USD, and got it fixed for max of 800 USD, then I only spend at a max 1300 and the bolt on kit alone is 1500+ USD and would not even open as much as the "Lambo Door Hinge Style 1B-4 $425" kit; just run that demo small movie on their site and see just how much this opens and how it works....

So thats my other plan, but I want to make sure that they agree first and get a better estimate of how long they would take to do it so that they don' end up charging rediculous amounts on workmanship. I mean what even if they took 20 hrs, then workmanship = 1000 dollars and kit was 500 usd, and it still saved my $$$ since there own bolt on retails for same price 1500+ without workmanship.

I have a Nissan Altima 94 Gxe 4dr sedan and I know for sure that the front doors would work fine atleast and pros already agree and confirm this.

They may be able to do flip up doors for backs that would flip towards the roof sideways.

Pls e-mail me back if you know who has these doors for an affordable price.

I found somewhere else I could get this done already for bt 2k and 2500 and not more than 3k, as opposed to the other one that was gonna charge 5000 usd.

I think if I look further, I should find a good deal for about 1k-1500.

Josh if your boy is getting his lamo doors done for 1500 then he is gettin hosed. a good kit, which there is a company making a bolt up kit now it goes for around 2gs, and that is a top o the line kit. labor you are looking at @ 1500-2000 bec. you have to remove fenders, doors, and if you have paint other than factory you are gonna need touch up bec. parts of the jams that didn't show b4 will now, there is a body shop here in VA about 1 mile from the racetrack in bristol that does quality work, i can get their number for you if you would like.

2ndly, are you saying that about 2k for kit + another 2K possibly for labor?? Then that would be atleast 4K if not more; men that would be enough to do both front doors into lamb doors and both back doors into suicide doors dude. I would send/post pics when car completes...

I found a place in ohio here that said they would do it for 1600 kit + 50usd/hr labor = about 400usd labor. So whole 2 fornt doors on my NISSAN ALTIMA 94 = about 2200-2300 max due to small mods needed since NISSAN ALTIMAs are unique and rare.

Also I want Suicide doors on my rear doors and I haven' even shopped for this but I know it could be as much as lamb doors too.

I thought about putting 20s on my 94 altima, but the said that it would barely fit, but those stut wheels would make hole in 20s and cut it as I role. I don' even know what stut wheel is so I decided I would settle for 19s; I heard someone put 19s on 94 altima b4 so am sure I can do this and I went to this site (http://amsoft.ru/tiresize/index.html?ws20=1 and http://toy4two.home.mindspring.com/offset.html) to calculate rim sizes and found that 20s would fit only that they don' make those size tires. See my OEM tires is 205/60-15 and I need following SZs in rims to fit my car... See 195/30-20 or 205/30-20 would be perfect but the don' make those yet. Pls check those calculators out and see if you think any 20s rim/treat tires are out that would correctly clear my stut wheel and fit my ALTIMA94.

lambo doors are definantly not rice, b/c you can't buy parts at auto zone, 2 when done right they look good, and 3 if they are done right then they are definantly worth it, and at shows.... mucho mucho points, rice no, nice if done right, definantly!!
