How do my buddy and i setup a LAN / Network Race?? We have 2 newer ps2's connected to a router which is online. However, when we try and connect we sit on a screen that says "waiting for connection". What is the proper way to setup a LAN race??
 
Use this pictoral LAN tutorial. It is meant to be printed out.

It is made for use with a crossover cable, but most of it applies to using a router, too, for bigger LANs.

Is this setup really working?
Did you ever try it?
I did for 1 hour and still not working...

The pictures show it worked, though, I need more people to use it for setting up their own LANs and giving me feedback on the language, so that the document can be finalised. If it doesn't work for you, then check your settings again.

If you have a specific problem with the instructions, then just ask about it.

It has lots of details on how to connect the two PS2's. Oh, I remember having to have the slave PS2 start before the master PS2.
