LAN-Party

Well since the summer is approching I'm makin plans for things I could do... LAN Party was on the list.

I've gotten a 24 Port network switch, and I have enough room to fit about 15-20 ppl/comps comforably.

We're gonna play... anything.
From Return to Castle Wolf ta Starcraft ta NFS4 and more. Games will be provided here.

Snacks and drinks are free, admission is free.

It may be June 29th or July 6th, witchever date works best for everyone, they are both Saturdays.

So all of you that live kinda close to NJ, reply saying your interested in coming (you gotta bring your comp and monitor, and get yourself a cheap Ethernet card if you dont have one, i think you can get a crappy one for $10) :D

(so far I've got about 5 ppl)

Dammit, WHY aren't there any in Canada!!! NJ is to far for me to drive... Cs will have to be one of your games...
 
Of course CS will be played!

Canada is NOT that far away (I'ed say about a 3 hour drive or so depending if you live by Maine or Alaska ;)) and PunkRock may come, and he lives in Canada :D
 
You ougta set up a server so other people can play.

Although that defeats the purpose of a lan party doesnt it?

Yea that does kill it. The fun is seeing your opponents reaction when your kicking his ass :smilewink

But the server idea.. well I guess we'll see what happends.
 
July 6th's gonna be impossible, i'm afraid... i already have plans for that Saturday...

i still don't know about June 29th... we'll see!
 
Theres plenty of time to figure out how/if your gettin here, thats no problem :)

So, MistaX, where'd you get the $7,200+ for the switch?:confused: Isn't that how much it said it cost in that link you posted in the HMRCWG thread?:eek:

Well...
Forget the switch, i got screwed on it. I dont have it now, and i prolly cant get it. I have to find another way...

The way i woulda got it was from my teacher, he said i had to fight him for it... and today he said "Nah, i was only kiddin" :mad:
So i cant have that one, but i still have a few backup plans... :)

Err, they tend to be reasonably compulsory!
