4 of us have been getting together and successfully racing via LAN connection. This is the absolute best thing you can do with GT4. We have done up to 4 machines connected with no lag. We are going to try 6 this week. đź‘Ť
This thread is not about the connection itself, but about car selection to get even competitive races.
All of us are very good GT4 players, so the cars we choose must be ~even. For example we have been certian cars where we can all use the same car but all select a different color (Impreza Super Touring Car, FTO Super Touring Car, RX7 LM ect). This ensures that we all have perfectly equal cars, but it gets a little boring. For a little more fun we all use a different DTM car and it is a wonderful race with much more personality than a race with all the exact same cars.
We are looking for groups of RACE CARS that will be very competitive with one another. We really arent interested in racing normal street cars.
