Lancer EVO 8 GSR (Works on the MR too, havent tested the RS)

These setting encourage the "suicide braking" manuever. This car will literally brake very deep into turns, making it easy to pass. Just line your car up against the opponent and wait till they brake first. Nail the brakes hard and the front end will dive down and bite the ground, the car will turn very fast. This become very apparent on courses with lots of low speed corners, like Hong Kong or Cote D'Azur.

Do not buy full custom LSD
Do not change the stock wing
No brake controller
No driving aides
No roll cage
All other goodies so that the hp is around 550
Tranny auto setting 11
SAYC 130
VCD 10

Standard front LSD:
intial 10
accel 35
decel 20

Springs 7.2 7.4
rideheight 116 116
bound 2 3
rebound 10 10
camber 3.0 2.5
toe 2 0
stabilizer 2 7

I am 95% satisfied with these settings. They work well with medium to supersoft race tires.

Give me feedback on what you think.

The car is on supersoft racing tires so the car is obviously going to handle very good. Can you try if this setting is as good on sport medium or soft?

Yes, works fine on medium race tires. Very controllable brake drift and the ability to accelerate while sliding sideways.

Changing from a street tire tune to a race tire tune is more complicated than just having the tire hide the flaws. Due to having more grip, race tires create more weight transfer and thus a slightly stiffer suspension is needed. There is no magic setup that works at 100% efficiency for both race and street tire. Not in the game, and not in real life.

In real life for example. Miatas that run in Scca Solo2 STS2 which are limited to street tires with high treadwear (less sticky) for example usually have quite a bit of suspension travel, are lowered maybe an inch or so. Miatas that run Scca Solo2 CSP which are allowed to use race tires usually have very little suspension travel, super stiff spring and are lower all the way down to the ground. The rules of the 2 classes are actually very similar except for the tire restriction on one. You will generally find that the less grip there is, the softer a real life race car's suspension will be.

With that said, I would make the car softer overall for soft sports tires by:
spring rate to 5.8 6.2
rideheight to 124 124
bound 1 2
reb 10 2
camber 3.0 2.0
toe 3 0
stab 1 7

The street tire setting work well with race tires. The braking while turning ability is increase. However, I feel it has slower response, no so important for time trails but more for wheel to wheel racing. I would still keep the first settings for race tires.
