Really sorry if already discussed somewhere, I searched and didn't find an answer.

All righty, is anyone else having trouble with this car on a straight line? It steers slightly from left to right constantly and it's pretty annoying. If I let go of my G27 the pendulum effect starts to get bigger and finally spins the car.

Tried with several other cars, premiums and standards and the premium Lancer is the only one that has this problem.

Any idea what causes this? Oh and I've had the car since Dec 2010 and just recently discovered this problem, so could it be one of the later patches?

It's a problem only with the Evo X and its AYC. Not sure why PD hasn't fixed it, I can't imagine any real car doing that, and they even put out an update to that specific car a while back I think.

In the other threads about this it has been said that installing a limited slip differential will cure it as that overrides the AYC. I haven't tried this myself yet.

That's not what it was for though.

I tried fixing it with the LSD but the result is that the car stops accelerating everytime I turn. It's much like the nascars with the ASM on.

Such a nice car, but it's really impossible to enjoy at its full potential. I'm surprised that PD hasn't fix it yet, even though they said they would address the issue.

Thanks Toronado.

Ah so it's not just a bug in my game haha, good. Such a great car, such annoying little thing that ruins it..

Gotta try with the LSD tomorrow, hope they'll fix the stock car too though.

I didn't intend to claim they fixed this issue, just that they fixed the car itself which poses the question of why they didn't fix the wobble. I thought that what I remembered was something about turbo output, but it was a while ago and I could easily be mistaken.

That update was actually what prompted me to buy one, then after an hour or two of trying to get it to drive straight I parked it. I could get it out and buy an LSD, but I have so many as/more interesting cars to drive, and I don't want to disturb the mice living in it.
