I'm pretty new to tuning, and I really surprised myself with this setup. It just kind of fell into place. To be honest, I don't really know which changes I made affected which aspects of the car's preformance, and its very possible that someone more experienced might tweak it to be even faster, but its definitely a great starting point. I don't consider myself the best driver (I use a DS3 and I'm too stubborn to re-learn R2 as the accelerator instead of X), but I can consistently run lap times of 2:18-2:19, my best being in the 2:16 range. It takes me to the pole in about 80% of my online races.

I played with the final gear so that fourth takes you perfectly through the esses. I generally reach about 145 on the straights, so it isn't quite red-lining, but those last ten mph are nice when you get a little draft action going. Lemme know what you guys think, and any tweaks or suggestions are more than welcome.

Looks pretty solid from here to me, i don't have time to try it but i run an Evo IX/tuned with very similar gearing (mine tops at 156mph )

2:18 is a pretty good time to be running as well.

Wow. Thanks a lot man. My first lap with these settings I ran a 2:16.996, which is one of my fastest. May I ask what the benefit of the positive toe in the rear is? Aside from common sense and the little scrolling info bar along the bottom, I don't know much about how tuning certain parts of the car affects its preformance.

I hate looking at it like that. It should be toe'ed out in the front and toe'ed in in there rear. My understanding is you do that to make the inside tires match the turn. it also stabilized the rear under accleration.

If you want to "free up" the EVO up a little under braking put them back to 5/5 its a little tight under braking, but I did that for online racing.

Thanks for the comments on the viper.

Wanna hear something funny? I run the IDENTICAL setup in the viper lol. except of corse the gears and weight/power. The viper actually handles fantastic but its got no nuts in the 600PP class so I push really hard to make up for the striates.

o and again put those same settings in the STI RA and hang on that things fast. I ran a best of 2.14 something with it.

Hi Zodicus, I don't use the EVO or STI that much but since I've been getting run over by them lately I thought I'd give your tunes a try. Do you use the same suspension and gears for S2 tires? Thanks alot for your help

on the STI RA I did I havent touched the evo in a while so IDK. The subie seamed to do just fine as it was so I left it.
