Ok, this is an extremely minor point, but something that I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed.

In GT4, if you had aftermarket suspension, when the car was dropped after oil change, you can visibly see less suspension travel on landing due to the higher spring rate when compared to the car with std springs.

Unfortunately, this has not been brought over into GT5.

As said, its not a huge issue. It just feels like PD have been cutting corners to try and get this game out.

I can't believe someone actually paid that much attention to the GT Auto guys doing their thing to notice something like that:scared:

A friend noticed a bigger issue than that, his risk to cancer will he huge by drinking all that oil. Someone should warn him.

yeah the mechanic was half assing too without tools! how could he!
when they rebuilt my cars engine they just made ratchet and air tool sounds up then turned my car around!

lol

I was more bugged by the pixelated flat texture they call "suds and soap" when washing the car.

What's always amused me is how the guy seems to just drink the oil and swish it in his mouth before spitting it back into the car.

haha yeah, they totally ripped you off
At least it didn't take them 4 months to wait for a part.

As once Famine said:
OH NOES CALL THE POLICE!!
Seriously man? That is picky. However, I am quite impressed by your attention to detail. I think Kaz never thought about how that would be noticed. Well we can blame this on our selves when you complain about the cutting corners. WE were the ones who pressured him.

I'd rather GT Auto is like the Tuning Shop where you click on the pop up to change oil and stuff. Better than waiting for the half arse animation (either do it realistically or skip it) to complete.

If you have gone this far to notice this, I'm surprised you haven't complained that they empty your engine oil, but never refill it, as in pouring new oil in from the top.

Why haven't you complained about the fact that when you respray a car, the windows and all the other unpainted exterior stuff don't get covered form the overspray??

Same goes for painting the wheels. Why doesn't the paint get all over the car?? It's clearly being sprayed EVERYWHERE!

Why don't the car wash guys spray water on the car to soak it, or rinse it??

NOONE CARES!!

I noticed the "landing animation" as well, and for a specific reason: there was (or is?) a function in Live for Speed which drops the car on the floor to test the suspension setup response.

The funny part was even my gf said "so he just put oil in from the bottom?"

Also when washing the fgt you can see them scrubbing empty air with there sponges.

Dude I care about all of those things.

And in GT4 watching the car settle on a slammed suspension tune was always visually pleasing. Its kindof a big deal.

They turn it around by taking the whole thing apart and then rebuilding it pointing in the opposite direction!

Then you expect ALOT of stuff from a video game. Too many of the really little things really. If game developers focused on that, the core stuff would suck.

For reals though, these guys is painting my wheels and they don't even block off the rest of the car. Pretty sure they got some paint on my fender. Anybody else notice this?

Lol

Dude, chill...

:)
