Language Support in GT5?

this is extremely specific so i don't know how many will be able to help, but is there any way to get hangul characters to show up in GT5? there's obviously support for japanese but hangul is shown as blocks, even when changing the PS3's native language, etc it doesn't seem to help...
 
For the PAL version languages supported are: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Turkish and Greek... I don't own any of the NTSC versions, so I don't know. You are also referring to the characters, and that is a bit strange since my PAL version also shows japanese signs. Maybe someone else knows more?
 
For some reason, my version only has English and Turkish (I think).
