Today, just now.

I did a complete lap drifting. That means that my car never went in a straight line but no matter where I was drifting and did it for a whole lap.

Has anyone managed this? Its really cool, people gotta try it.

I used a Mazda RX-7 FC.

Sheron did it a lot in GT3. Unfortunately, the links are currently down. Why don't you PM him and see what he could possibly upload.

Which track? Some are easier than others :)

Well....I first did it on Motorland, which was of course easy. But just now (9:06 am here) I did one on Fuji Speedway 2005 GT.

Really? Cool. But its in GT3..I havent drifted in GT3 since like February. Though..........which tracks......

whats best drift track in real life to do a drift lap? i think its probably nurbergring
Probably Fuji.....its quite easy.....

maticekkk
I can do it on Autumn Ring Mini... its a great track for drifting...:sly:

Because of the tight turns? Im going to try on Laguna Seca. Anyone think I can do it?

about 5 of them. I can't remember exactly which. Again, PM Sheron on it. He's certainly the resident master linker on this board.

If you plan on doing a smooth proper drift run and not snaking down long back straights, I'd suggest Suzuka east or Autumn Ring mini... Both tracks can be linked with minimal amount of "waste", possibly without a single manji... but Suzuka will be hard (first double right into the esses is quite a stretch)

I'm of course talking about turns 1-last, not including the start/finish straight ;)

Hardly doubt that it can be done in Suzuka. Tight corners, long straights, tricky apexes.

and that is why he said suzuka east.
i can link suzuka east minus the first double apex with a stock 99 s2000 on n1. Suzuka east is very fun in stock cars!

Thought you had said Suzuka, like the normal one. Sorry. :)
Today I was trying Tsukuba Wet, damn easy. Except the last turn that was wide and hard to maintain angles and smokey smoke.

Infineon has a couple of harder bits, but it does seem possible. The S-Turns can be chained together.

The only parts that can't be linked (without more than 1 "manji" swing) are out of the sharp right at the "top" of the track and the 2 back straights up to the hairpins. You don't even need to feint to link the first hairpin to the esses. Still those two straights make this a non linkable track imo.

By ImprezaAddict's definition of drifting a whole lap, any track can be fully drifted

I think Ske has the definition correct. A track that can be drifted with 1 manji swing or less each straight is the track that can be drifted fully.
