Hello GTP Folks,

i always wished that i could compare my skills with other GT Mobile Players all over this Planet.
So i decided to open this Thrad.

Here you can Post your Laptimes and i´ll try to put it in a database.

Everybody should use those Car Options:

Transmission: Anyhow
Front + Rear Tires: N3
TCS: Anyhow
ASM: Anyhow
Active Steering: Off
Driving Physics: FF Cars: Pro, FR Cars: Standard, AWD: Standard

I picked out 5 Courses that we want to use:

1. Nordschleife of the Nürburgring
2. Suzuka Full Course
3. Tsukuba
4. Twing Ring Motegi East
5. Fuji Speedway 90´s

Please load up a representative picture of your Laptime!!!


We put the Cars in different categories:

Category C: Cars up to 1600cc
Categroy C+: Cars up to 1800cc OR 1600cc Turbocharged
Category B: Cars up to 2000cc OR 1800cc Turbocharged
Category B+: Cars up to 2500cc OR 2000cc Turbocharged
Category A: Cars up to 3000cc OR 2500cc Turbocharged
Category A+: Cars over 3500cc+ OR 2500cc+ Turbocharged


The DB Will look like this:

You want me to take S tires off my car that comes with them stock, to put on N tires?

The ZR1 rides on Michelin Pilot Sports Stock, ain't no way I'm going to take em off for some tires off a Civic O_o

N tires, but Standard physics doesn't make sense, its like your taking grip away by using crappy N tires, but adding some back with standard physics. O_o (The use of N tires is to "suggest" a level of difficulty/reality & the Standard physics suggest the opposite)

Why not use S tires, but Pro physics on all. This will be a MUCH better rep of reality if that's your trip.

S tires are Sport tires. The Falkens I have on my Enkei rims sitting on my Daily Driver can't even grab a S rating, I give them R1 at the least. The rubber on SO MANY daily drivers tires out performs S tires.

We have also had DOT approved racing tires for a while, take Mickey Thompson's ET Street Radials. They are pretty much a DOT approved racing tire.

Oh don't start SiNiST3R off on tyres again lol.

I like the idea, especially for road cars, it gives an idea of each car around circuits. BUT he has a point, N tyres are way too slow with less grip and too much sliding than normal for most cars. You would be better off using the S grade tyres as a general tyre AND PRO physics, there are alot on here, myself included, who refuse to use Standard. More people use Pro so you'll get more times entered.

As I pointed out on a previous thread, I recommended using S1 tyres on all the road cars. I found the times acheived around circuits like Tsukuba and Laguna Seca on S1 tyres were closest to real life times obtained by magazines (using fastestlaps.com as a ref), I also use T/C on 3 now and again where the real cars use them to manage their power, but if it wasn't an option (eg TVR's) then I don't use it.

Try having a database for each car, listing its fastest time and who acheived it as its main time all in bold, then followed by its times achieved by other users. That way we can see which cars are fastest than others in its class, AND which users are really quick.

To start you off, here's two I just set after 5 laps each, they on are PRO and S1, not that quick but its two of my favourite cars....infact I can't be bothered to load up a picture as they aren't that quick and will be beaten but here goes anyway....
