Lap times at la sarthe

Hey dudes. I just wanna hear what your lap times at la sarthe is like (2009 with chicanes) i sometimes see people online with laptimes at 3:07 but i think theese people are cutting the corners way too much. So would any of you please tell ur lap times and maybe post a video so i could see how u get it? ;)

Im mostly driving my peugeot 908 hdi fap and cant get under 3:15 without cutting the corners.

Alright ;) im believe you. But would any of you mind post a video with a fast lap (pref in 3rd person veiw) so i could see where i could go faster? :)
 
Did 2:4x.xxx something during the 24 hours of Le Mans... With the Mazda 787B, fully upgraded and racing softs... No tuning though, completely stock tune, only transmission was adjusted to reach 400 km/h.

And yeah, I was cutting the chicanes on that lap.

Best without cutting corners is 2:56.861 in the same endurance.
 
Okay now i've tried with my merc c9 and got 3:11.xxx. Would anybody please post a video just with a phone or something so i can see where i can go faster?
 
3.45.389 in an R8 5.2 FSI quattro '09
Did some tuning on it and I think I may be able to hit 3.30 with it
 
Indeed the lap times you get during the 24 Hours of Le Mans can get down there. You get used to the track. I believe my fastest lap in the R8 LMP was 3:02.
 
I'm driving the 24h race at the moment. With stock Mazda 787b, i make 3.28-3.32 laps, on dry and RS, and about 3.52-3.58 on 100% wet, Rain:intermediate tires.

Search the forums for a guy named Adrenaline. He has a website that links (almost) every single tune from GT Planet in one place. You should find a tune for your Peugeot and set it up like that. You'll probably find that the gearbox setup, the suspension settings, etc., etc. will allow you to get faster lap times.

In other words, you won't have to work quite as hard & you'll be faster, without cheating. ;) Some of the tunings are even track specific, some are not.
 
Dammmmn you guys make me feel slowww! At least I still have a lot of time before I will be attempting either 24hr race. Gonna do Le Mans and Nurburgring in May and June respectively; you know, the months they are held in.

I think on of my fastest laps at Le Sarthe was like around 3:37.
 
It might be a good idea to include what tires are being used, if any assists are on, and if the car is tuned when posting times here.

There can be a huge difference in lap times with any of those variables.

You guys are aliens. With a well tweaked Bentley speed 8, high turbo I'm barely getting 3.30!
