We've had the same laptop for about 4 years now. Previously, it was running Vista, but this kept freezing and it was drving the missus up the wall, which was driving me up the wall, because she moaned about it all the time.
So, over the weekend, I finally got around to removing Vista and installing XP. This runs fine, but using the laptop is causing both of us to get what I'm assuming is eyestrain - we get headaches and feel sick within 20 minutes of using it.
I've installed the latest graphics drivers and have fiddles with the resolution to no avail. The refresh rate is set to 60Htz, which is the only setting it has.
Anyone got any ideas why it's making us feel ill and what I can do about it?
