Laptop Keyboard Customization

Just wondering if there were any aftermarket companies that modified laptop keyboards. If not, is there any that sell the lettering that goes on top of the keys. Because, I would like to paint mine. If anyone has something that they already did, I am all ears.

P.S. I saw it done in the movie Hackers and thought it looked cool, so I kind of want to copy the idea.

Wow, that's a cool keyboard. But, I think it's for straight gaming, and I was going to replace the original keyset with the same setup, different color.

there's software to rearrange the key layout - but i don't know about replacing the keys. I never thought they were removable on keyboards.

On a laptop it's different. I can remove mine at anytime for replacement. I was just needing decals for the letters/numbers and such. I could paint it myself. I am also interested in replacement pads, drop in system style.
