hello guys, I have a MacBook and i am intrested in some modifications/ additions i can a put on it that will increase speed, efficiency, and awesome factor (:dopey:). These can be of any price range From DIY to ~ $100.

Depending on what you have and what it can handle, start with RAM. Past that, laptop upgrades are somewhat difficult as things aren't nearly as accessible as a desktop. Regardless, you likely won't see a huge difference in performance.

Interesting... how would one go about doing that? Also how about changing fans etc.?
EDIT: Keep in mind i know very little about computers, I mean i know more then the basics but nothing big.

Upgrading the ram is pretty simple, on your Macbook on the bottom there's a slot with small screws that you unscrew and put the new ram in. As far as changing fans go, I don't recommend doing that because it voids your warranty and also there isn't really any custom fans for Macbook's that gives a noticeable performance boost. If you want to mod the logo or make the laptop look even cooler there are various ways you can do that, here's a video of a modded logo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zd2TYB6AhCY

Max the ram and install an SSD is about it for an Apple product, they are not very user upgradable like a lot of other laptops.

Sure he can. Crucial and Data Memory Systems both sell compatible RAM at reasonable prices. How old is this MacBook? What's the Model Identifier when you go Apple Menu>About This Mac>More Info?
