So, what did everyone think of this? I had a go at the games, but thought they were a bit ridiculous, so was skeptical of the movie. Buy hey ho, free cinema pass, nothing to do, so off I went.

Audio Visual riot, Angelina Jolie is lovely, and does a v.sexy British accent. Plot OK. 7/10.

But I bought the DVD anyway! :rolleyes: :D

umm isn't the most important thing? Its the reason I went. I give "her" not so much the movie but "her" :thumbsup: :thumbsup: ;)

I've seen it three or four times. I liked it more and more each time. I really got into the games, and not because of the extreme boobage factor, but because they were pretty cool. There really aren't any other games that fill that roll of gamer.

The movie was hokey at times, but it was fun. They made her out to be this extreme bad ass, but she was still just a little girl with a broken heart who missed her dad. I thought the stupid 'Laura sounds' that they took from the game were kind of stupid. Like when she would "Hmmm", or "Oh!". Maybe that's just from hearing it so much in the games.

I gave it 3.5 stars out of 5.

I enjoyed the movie. I played through the games, except Chronicles, and figured the movie would be hokey. I was suprised when I actually liked it. Kind of a mix between Raiders of the Lost Ark, Romancing the Stone, and a bit of 007 gadgetry thrown in for fun. :thumbsup:

I'm not a big Jolie fan but I think she played the part perfectly. I would like to get the DVD myself as I have only seen the movie once. I want to hear on my surround sound the scene in the house she is on the wire running on the walls. :D

That scene sounds great. I think a renting would be more suitable, though, as you probably won't watch it more than a couple times.

Um she looked good with the towel on and off, and the cars were great :thumbsup: Movie sucked :)

The sound's really good on it actually. All the shooting is great, and the music rocks out of all five speakers in a way that totally fills the room with sound (try Coyote Ugly for this too).
