Hey guys, so yesterday I upgraded to a 42inc LED TV and it is now my primary monitor and television. Its great and it is super sexual.
The only problem is when I sit on the couch with my wireless KB and mouse I cant read the text that is on the screen. I worked out how to make it bigger in control panel but while I like the enlarged text, the icons and other buttons enlarge exponentially also. This is really annoying because I hate the appearance of the large icons and I forked over a lot of money to enjoy high a high resolution display, as Im sure a lot of you others have too. The way it is now it is like the screen is set to its standard resolution, rather than being upscaled to 1080p, very annoying.
So my question is, is there anyway to increase the text size of the windows functions without increasing the size of the icons/taskbar?
Im using Windows 7 on an HP ProBook 6550b
