Last ever TVR Cerbera to be sold

Already been posted in the TVR Fan Club, though I suppose a thread is okay.

Like I said before, horrible colour IMO.

I can see this going for quite a high price, possibly over £60k.

You'd be surprised how little, in the short-medium term, a first or last version of a car will be worth. Sure if you keep it in tip-top condition it might, in 30 years time, be worth 20% more than any other '06 Cerbera in great condition. By that time the car will need a full re-build or need re-commissioning (if little/never used) and therefore probably cost you the difference. Put it this way, no one will ever make any money from winning this car in auction. You'd be better off buying a 'normal' '06 Cerbera and getting as much enjoyment out of it as possible whilst it lasts.

Yeah but theres two things about this, firstly it's the last and it's going for auction, the Cerbera is a bit of an icon to fans of British sportscars so there are people who will be willing to pay more to get the last one regardless of making their money back. Secondly, all the money over the standard price of the car is going to charity which tends to make people with a lot of cash a bit more generous.

And there are no 06 Cerberas other than this one. The Cerbera has been out of production since 2004..
