What is the weirdest last name you heard of, or if your last name is weird what is it? We would like to know. Ill start it off.

My name is Harold Chia. Yes my last name is Chia. Just like Chia Pets. Yes, people do go around saying "Cha Cha Cha Chia" Even my teachers do it, no joke. I feel that everyone here would start to tease me about my last name. As a kid i didnt handle it very well :p but im use to it now so i really dont mind.

Cha Cha Cha Chia, Sry had to do it

My last name is Bame, Ive been called Bamer Flammer and all that,

Im 16 and i have a 12 year old who calls me that... and what am I supposed to do beat him up? hes half my size:rolleyes:

There's this one Chinese kid at my school who's last name is Xu (fun when subs try to figure out how it's pronounced). Speaking of subs, I've had one named Mr. Loveless.

 yeah, Its an advanatage to be chinese. Subs. I love it. Most of the time, i fake that i cant speak english, cant read very well, or that i need someone to help me with my work because i dont understand. Subs mostly fall for it. Tell a person to help me read, wonder why but they never pick girls to help me read. They always send me and a guy outside the hallway to let him "read" to me. its funny.

Wherever I go nobody seems to grasp 'Seitz' very well. Everytime I need to give out my last name to someone their faces just turn "er...", then I have to spell it out, which is annoying given the lenght and simplicity of it.

And Yang Pang does have a humurous ring to it.

My last name is Miles.

"Miles, Miles, face like files."

"I can see for miles and miles and ..."

I can hear it now, clear as day, like it was yesterday. But seriously, that "face like files" thing was so stupid. That one is from first grade. The reference to The Who is from high school.

Yeah, At least i dont have the trouble of people pronoucing my name.

My cousin last name is Be  thats pretty funny. I shouldnt talk tho. I have a middle name and its secret and im sure none of you would like to know so.

Yang Pang is funny ill give it that.

I like the last name Ng. I have no clue how to pronounce it. Is it Ing? New?
Why don't you just listen to Ana Ng and find out yourself? Although, I think they put too much stress on the "I" when pronouncing it as "Ing" (I usually pronounce the "I" while my tongue is in the position to pronounce the "N"... basically, I pronounce the whole name with the back of my tongue touching the roof of my mouth).

So the correct way to pronounce Ng is kind of like saying "ung", except without very much emphasis on the u?

My last name is Rowe. Pronounced just like row. For some reason everyone seems to think its pronounced Raow. I dont understand it, its very simple. 4 letters sounds just like row. And yes i was tormented as a little kid with row, row, row your boat.

I used to know a guy with the last name **** (sometimes, it sucks having the swear filter :p)...pronounced fook. First day of 8th grade gym class was HILARIOUS during roll call.

It's a VERY common name amongst Pakistanis, but Butt is a damn weird last name. Especially considering that some over there take pride for having the name. My parents still haven't been able to thoroughly explain to me what the significance is behind the name that so many people have it and why they like it...

My last name i Szakal. *sigh*..this is gonna be bad..it means *cogh*beard*cough* in hungarian *embarrased*
