Last year of high school.

Well I find myself kicking off my final year of high-school, my final year in this town. It's so weird when I think that one year from now I'm going to be in a new place, away from the town and the people who have surrounded me all of my life. That said, I'm trying to make the most of this year, and have a blast while I still can. Do any of the older members here remember your senior years, if so how was yours? Is there anything that you wished you had done before you went off to college?
 
High school was the wort years if my life. So many immature idiots all crammed into one tiny school. Grade 13 was horrible for me. There were like 13 other kids and they were all jackass's. Thats why I loved College. In college you find most of the A-Holes have moved on and that it is more grown up because the people there are there to learn, not just because mom or dad are making them go.
 
No, he means Grade 13. He lives in Canada. ;)
 
Do Canadians have five years of high school?
 
The High School i just started at has a reputation for being very fun and very good. Since it's all boys, we often get to curse in class or something. You may think that sounds stupid at first, but once you do it, it's extremely fun. :lol:

And i'm just in Freshman year.
 
Well I'm starting my sophomore year, and I'd have to say I enjoy HS. The trick is finding the right people to hang with, and don't try to be something you're not.

In Italy there are 5 years of high school, but that is the only place I know of that does that.
 
My senior year was last year and it was the most fun I have ever had in my life. I will always remember the people I've met during these past 4 years, they will be friends for life. Don't get bogged down by being depressed, always try to find the good in everything.
 
My last is coming in 3 years (including this one). It's hard to believe; it seems like it all went by so fast...
 
Sublime, All i can tell you is that the last year of high school was hell for me...:(
 
I'm in my last year of high school. I've got to decide where I'm going when I graduate.

Right now it's just: far away.

I guess ill tell you...


Freshman year, I bombed english, so I had to take it again. During senior year i was taking english 11 and english 12 (except it was for 2 hrs after school and lasted for a semester.) Because of that, It was conflicting with my work schedule. not only that, i didnt get some of the credit I needed such as my phys ed, and art credits etc.

But i made it in the end passing english 11 with a 74 for the year and look at me now starting work for 2 years earning $10 an hour so I can get into college.


Meh. It'll be over soon.

All boys? Geh...I don't like "all boys" schools.
 
I want to like High School but I'm at a different school than that of what I planned. I'm still trying to get transferred so the last 4 years of my "childhood" are awesome.
