Latest News Menu Disappears when you Log-In?

I use Firefox, and when I log-in, the Latest News Menu on the right-hand-side of the page disappears. I really enjoy using that to browse through threads, so I often log-out just to browse the forum/site more efficiently.

Is there a setting that I can enable to keep that menu up after I log-in? or is it perhaps my browser?

If not, I would like you to please consider making it an option, or adding it full-time all together.

I'm glad you like that feature. :) The menu is actually something that is only visible to guests - I want it to encourage them to stick around and read other content they might have missed. Though it's not integrated with the rest of the site's template, registered users have access to the "New Posts" link (in the yellow box) which is basically the same thing, only more robust. If you haven't tried it out yet, take a look.

I agree, the side-bar "Latest News" does keep me around much longer than I intend ;)
 
Been here 18 months and have never clicked on the new posts, didnt even know it was there! Do now though.
