Wie die japanische Fachzeitschrift Dorimaga heute unter
Berufung auf Entwickler Polyphony Digital berichtet, schreiten die
Arbeiten an dem unlängst angekündigten Rennspiel 'Gran
Turismo 4' weiterhin sehr zufriedenstellend voran. Insgesamt sollen
gar bereits 50 Prozent des Spiels fertiggestellt sein, so das
gut unterrichtete Blatt weiter.

'Gran Turismo 4' soll demnach noch Ende 2003 in die japanischen
Läden kommen und mit einigen gravierenden Neuerungen im
Vergleich zum erfolgreichen Vorgänger für Furore sorgen. Neben
einem integrierten Online-Modus sollen dabei vor allem die Vielzahl
an neuen Strecken und Fahrzeugen sowie ein
simulationslastigeres Gameplay zu den markantesten Verbesserungen zählen.

It says that the Japanese magazine Dorimaga reported that Polyphoy Digital announced that the work on the recently announced racegame GT4 is going on satisfying. The game must be about 50% ready now.

This way it should hit stores in Japan before the end of 2003 with some impressive improvements compared to GT3. Next to an integrated online mode, the multitude of new cars and tracks and the more realistic simulation gameplay should be the most remarkable improvements.

There that close to be done programming it?! :eek: I thought it was only 10% done. Thanks for the info. ;) :)
 
half empty or half full? You could look and say:

They've already spent this much time on it, and they're going to spend that plus MORE?

The reason why I say MORE is because they're going to have to iron out as many glitches as they can, but that's why it's released outside of Japan later, right? So we can get the smoother and better copies?
 
Did anybody get the issue of OPS2-UK with the GT3 documentaries?

Kaz-san stated that "We acheieved everything we wanted with GT3. There isn't anything to be done basically." "We are hoping to take the next title online. It is called GTN, Gran Turismo Network, the equivalent of GT4 and will be out next year at the very latest. Its not going to be a simple head-to-head game, we're going to be a bit more original. Nothing is set in stone yet."
 
Hey fellow GTers, How many ilink racers are there out there, Imagine,6 guys at one place all racing the same race all with their own t.v.'s It's the social event of the week. Will GT4 be ilinkable. Maybe i've been living in a cave, but will somebody tell me about GTconcept, I understand there's two of them, GTconcept Geneva, and GTconcept2001 Tokyo. thanx, always wear your seatbelt.
 
With this GT network their making, lets hope they have it international. That would be the best move PD would ever make for the GT series.
 
I think it could well be co-incidental with the broadband release for the Ps2 ;) ;).
