I need some help on the best way to launch a F094/S. I have no clue what the best way to do this is. I usually just hold the accelerator down the whole time and red line it.

Hmm, with that great of a car, why does your launch even matter?? Any car I drive on GT3, I just toy around with the accelerator and listen to the engine and the others around me until the light goes green....

Why do you ask such a question

i usually stomp on the 3-2-1 count on the last quarted sec on the last sec, stomp on the gas...

about 4000 RPM
:)

Figure out at which RPM value your car drives off without traction, from there you should launch it. But again, who cares? Just press X for christ's sake!! :p

I don't have an f1 car, but I usually launch at 4000 like Dess.

Try launching from the torque peak.

With 4WD and FF cars i fry it at max revs , but with RWD cars (MR , Fr and the ruf rgt) i also launch at about 4000 , but i don't stomp on the pedal that hard in the first moment , just flick it lightly , and when the number showing your speed goes from kinda grey to yelow then floor it , you shouldn't have problems with traction then...

what works for me is to red line it when the lights change (but in 2nd gear) once the wheels break tracktion and I am just moving I back off and ease in the power minimising wheelspin... you get to a point where you can feel confident that you can bury the throttle..

this is with the RWD cars >300hp...

not sure if this is good or not but give it a try..

each car will be a little differant but thats what I use in my GT-One

I have even thought about moving all the gears up one.. IE have first set to the same as second, second the same as third etc... this will efectively give me 7 gears.. on the High HP cars I find 1st useless

but I am relatively new to this.. :D

i strongly advice learning to launch if you want to do race challenges, i once got a killer launch, and you can save nearly half a second with a good launch

That is true Talentless, I have occasionally done that, but I don't really try to personally. Like the other person said, just gun it...

Now if you and a friend were drag racing, then sitting and figuring out how to do it would be a huge plus for you!!

that half second counts for any time challenge with equal cars. i don't follow your limiting it to drag racing.

Trial Mountain?
S-license?
Have the gold yet?

Damn i also hated this thing... and the roadster endurance , it's just wrong...

The wise man will listen to Taletless for he is without his name... for the most part :D He speaks well and knows the value of .5 when your in a competition using the same car. Remember, getting ahead at the start has it's advantages when you're not consistent!
