''French automobile and motorcycle builder Lazareth has managed to shoehorn an entire BMW V12 engine into one of its crazy Wazuma quads. While there isn't much that's environmentally friendly about a 500-horsepower supercharged V12 from BMW that's powering a rather large and impractical quad platform, Lazareth has decided to attempt to give the machine a bit of eco-cred by running the engine on E85.

Why use ethanol in a decidedly performance-minded machine? We'd guess Lazareth's decision to run E85 as a fuel is due to its superior octane rating, which allows the engine to run a higher compression ratio than with gasoline. If you're interested in adding an ethanol-burning, V12-powered road rocket to your own personal stable of vehicles, all you need to do is write Lazareth a check for €200,000 ($283,000) and await your delivery.''

Me want:drool:

What's next, Subaru Impreza STi ATV? Oh, wait, it's been done.. but I can only imagine how uncomfortable that thing is.

That's retarded. They should've at least put the V12 on a recumbent bike.

To All Naysayers:

The only purpose of this vehicle is to give the rider the pleasure of going ridiculously fast just before his remains are splattered against a California redwood. Thus, it needs not be:

Comfortable
Reliable
Safe

Thank you for your understanding.

That. Is. The. Most. Awsome. Thing. Ever.

If I was a millionaire I would without question own that thing and say "screw you" Lambo, Ferrari and etc. Who needs that weak ass Viper powered motorbike. :D

I'm seriously blown away.

Damnit... I was so going to do this with my spare V12!

Actually, I've been thinking about recumbents, too... puts you closer to the road, whereas quads and motorbikes put you closer to the wall...

Its like something out of a weird dream - "Woah, I had a dream last night where I was driving a V12 with wheels!".
Crazy stuff. I like 👍

So basically you strap a V12 to your crotch...now there is a good idea.

Reminds me of the Viper Tomahawk but at least the Wazuma looks fairly stable. This bike was a horrible design.

I wonder how easy it is to roll it over...if its got a lot of grip I'm sure it won't take much. The narrow track in the rear might just make it start to oversteer first.

You know, they could've made the seat/tail like a superbike so there'd be at least a little something to keep your ass in place. This just requires Pako's arms to hold on.

It looks pretty stable to me, low c of g, much more stable than a regular quad bike anyways. I couldn't really see it rolling. As for the seating position your practically doing a superman, your not really on your butt at all, your waist rests against the front pads. Feet are scarily close to the rear wheels though. I want one, looks like the most fun you can have with your pants on.

Yep, quite.

Literally
!

Without the protection of a windshield, you won't be able to hold on when releasing all that V12-power on a very windy day!

What you on about, you can hold onto a superbike, why is this different?, it won't be much faster, just produce a lot more torque.

Superbikes have windshield and aerodynamic covers to protect you from the full force of the gale, unlike this one. I'm not surprised if it's based on university engineering students design from some competition.

It's looks like a minature version of the new Batmobile. Are there any specs available for this yet?

In all seriousness, when are they planning a race series for this thing?

It'd be like Formula 1 without the safety measures.

Imagine the heat that the driver gets from this V12.

Did EVERYONE miss this?

I rest my case. It's insane because it's supposed to be.

I guess you've never rode a naked bike?

If not, I suggest you do. Between 75 mph - 87 mph when it's windy and we'll talk again. ;)

Remember this:

and that's a car. Jeremy even talks about getting the wind in your helmet (motorcycle) and he mentions the atom not having a windscreen!

The Lazareth Wazuma V12 without a windscreen or some wind protection is asking for problems on a windy day at high speeds (and that's what it's designed for).
