The mores cars I buy in the game, the more I have realized just how many of the Le Mans winning, and top competing, cars are in GT5.
You could almost run the winning car for every year since 1966!
The major glaring omission being Porsche, due to the licensing issues.
PD was able to get some street cars into the game via the "RUF loophole", which is nice to have a chance to drive them.
Looking over the list of Le Mans winners:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_24_Hours_of_Le_Mans_winners
I noticed that the 1994 winner was a "Dauer 962". Now this car is basically a Porsche based car that was constructed by a small company.
I am surprised that PD didn't use that opportunity, like they did with RUF, in order to get a Porsche based race car into the game.
Looking over that list too, I wish they would have gone back a little further than 1966. The Ferraris from the early 60's as well as the Jaguar D-Types from the 50's would have been great additions to the outstanding lineup of Le Mans cars in GT5.
