The Concept
Ever since the endurance races were discovered on GT5, I have thought that they needed a little more thought. Give the 24 Hours of Le Mans for instance, it could use the 16 player function for having GT cars, and LMP cars. But then, I thought, why not create your own online event? The concept of these races is to give fun and enjoyment, with a good Le Mans feel.
The Races
THese are endurance races, so if endurace isn't your cup of tea, than this isn't your type of series. But, one thing I will say, driver changes will come into play when we start to run longer races. I will explain how these driver changes work. We set the number of laps in the race to a number, say 3 hours. When the race is done, it will send you back to the lobby, where the current drivers leave one by one to allow the "switched" drivers into the lobby. Then they go into the pits, and the race starts back up, till the next 3 hours when the drivers repeat the switch. I am scheduling these races after the month of June, that way it gives me time to get a wheel, and gives you time to tune, buy, and do whatever to your car. Plus the 24 Hours of Nurburgring is on, and it would be a crime to have something on a 24 Hour day.

The Cars
The race's couldn't go on without the cars, so lets get into that right now.
LMP1-6 Racers
GTE Pro-10 Racers
The LMP1 cars are cars like the Audi R10 TDi and the Puegeot 908 HDi. Also included are the Nissan R390's, the Mazda 787B's, and the Bentely Speed 8, but aren't limited to these cars. All LMP's must be un-modified, with only Oil Changes, Engine Overhauls, and Chassis Overhauls.
The GTE Pro cars can be any production car, modified to 600pp. Cars that are Race Modified are perfect for this class. Though the Corvette ZR1 C6 RM is not allowed.
Additional Information And Sign-Up Sheets
A race calender will be available once we gather enough information. After people have signed up, I will offer an Microsoft Excel sheet, or .pdf file for download to view the competition.
If we decide to do another season, then you may be able to use the same car you did with the last season. If you were the winner, your car will have a 50kg ballast added, and a 3% power decrease, if you choose to use the same car.
Points will be organized by race, doubling with the difficulty. Heres the base scoring.

Once all the drivers have been filled, we will move on to 2nd drivers. After that we'll move on to reserves. NOTE: Your 2nd driver MUST have the same car as you do, with the same mods, tuning, ballast, and Restrictions.
