I was racing de la sarthe on photomode to get some photos of my Sauber & ACCIDENTALY set a fast lap. it happens

anyway. whats wrong with a fast lap in a fast lap thread?

Nothing, if it was done legitimately, adhering to the rules of the challenge. I just don't believe your lap time was done legitimately. It seems to be very convenient that you beat your friend by 0.001 of a second. Do you have the replay? What were your split times?
 
not sure. as I say I wasn't really concentrating on setting a fast lap.

I presume you stayed on the track all the way round? No going over the red paved areas at the chicanes?
 
how else would I get that time

ahh you mean cheating! nope just driving aids & staying on the track
 
Did you have ASM on? and again, did you drive over the red areas at the chicanes?

Noz, you say you did the time in Arcade Mode, then you say you did it in Photo Mode (which is in GT Mode), I doubt the Sauber is capable of that kind of time in GT Mode, you also said you used Driver Aids, which are banned in GT Mode, so unless you can provide a replay of your time as proof I will take it that you made your time up and will no longer accept any times from you in this thread!
 
i just bought the max drive yesterday.i did save my record replay at merory card,how to i prove my replay???can max drive prove i colck the time at acrade mode???:nervous:

You can post your replay if you want to but it isnt necesary, it is only needed if your time is suspicious and someone asks you for one.

1. With PS2 off put memory card into memory card slot 1.
2. Put MaxDrive into top (fat) or left (slim) USB slot.
3. Put MaxDrive software disc into PS2.
4. Turn PS2 on.
5. When all is booted up, select Memory Card 1.
6. Locate gamesave.
7. COPY gamesave (not transfer, but copy) to MaxDrive.
8. When complete, go back to MaxDrive menu screen (to ensure that all data transfer has finished).
9. Turn off PS2.
10. Take MaxDrive out of PS2 and put into spare USB slot on PC.
11. Open folder to view files on MaxDrive.
12. Locate replay (will have stupid filename, but last accessed date will be today). Rename to reflect contents (I suggest usernamecartracktime YINSauberC9LS1259972 - or something similar). Do not change extension of .max
13. Upload and attach here.

Hey YIN, didnt notice your new times till now, i'll ad them to the leaderboard right away, as for doing Le Sarthe 2 aswell, not to be rude but I have to say no I prefer to keep it Le Sarthe 1 only, if you want to do Le Sarthe 2 then either make a new thread or do a search for an old one 👍:)

Actually, I was thinking about it at work today :D I've had a change of heart, I think I will include Le Sarthe 2 into this Time Attack, i'll update the first post to include it now 👍

I have a time, and welcome back daddy-o. The last time I saw you it was in
one of my time trials. So here is that time

GT Mode Le Sarthe I
4:20:836/Toyota Celica SS-II(ZZT231) '99

Now I know this is not fast, but it's done with the car i'm using in the
Super Taikyu race series. And I thought I would see how fast my car
was on this track. And it was alot of fun to drive here with it too:D.
 
Ooo!!! Imma do le sarthe 2! Imma try it with the same cars I used last time, cuz they were a blast for me to drive. Ill post later tonight when I get home from work.
