Hello everyone and welcome to my tuning thread.

First a disclaimer: I am by no means an expert in tuning. But I want to get better, so any and all tips, tricks and constructive criticisms are welcome. Special thanks to Motor City Hami and XS for their words of wisdom and getting me pointed in the right direction.

All my tunes were done with a G27 wheel, paddle shifting, force feedback at 7 and no aids except ABS 1. All tunes are also done with SS tires and fine tuned with SH tires so any of the sport tires will work. Also, all of my tunes will be max tunes that I have tested across multiple PP ranges. These tunes may not be the fastest tunes for a specific PP setting, but I feel like they are plenty fast across any PP setting you want to use. As far as transmission settings, all tunes will use the stock transmission unless otherwise noted.

These tunes are set for my driving style which is heavy, late braking and hard on the gas out of corners. So if you like driving super aggressive, try these out and let me know what you think.

Have fun.

Are all of your tunes maxed out or will you be doing pp ranges? 400, 425, 450, 475, 500, and so on.

I start by maxing them out. Once I get them to a point I like, I start adjusting them with certain PP ranges. That way I can use them across all different races. They might not be the fastest at any set PP, but I feel like they can do well across a broad spectrum.

Definitely let me know how you like them. I'm always open to suggestions and constructive criticism. I haven't had any responses, so I'm curious as to how they work for others.

Note that Camber in GT6 is not working properly and using it actually reduces grip so all tunes at present would be faster with 0 camber settings

Interesting. More testing to be done then. Can anyone confirm that is true for all cars, or just some?

I just realised to my horror that I was lacking a street Camaro in my collection! I went and bought this car, and put this tune on it. Testing now.

Edit: works with flying colors! It didn't handle sharp turns or esses too well, but it's a muscle car, not a ferrari fxx.

It slaughtered everything on Indy, as well as Bathurst. On Tsukuba, it still won by a longshot, but it had trouble in the technical parts (again, expected).

Nice. I'm glad you like it. You may want to run 0 camber since it's apparently not working correctly due to a bug. Most people seem to agree that 0 camber provides the most grip.

I can't play anymore tonight (Brother and I share a room, and he wants to go to bed), but I'll try next time I play. Thanks.

Okay, just put no camber on, and it improved lap times significantly, It lets me take corners at higher speed.

Just made a great tune better!

That's what I've noticed too. Once they fix camber, hopefully my settings will still work.
