Leaderboard/Ghost Suggestion

Just like to start by saying that I've really enjoyed the game so far.

I've been spending a lot of time in time trials, and I feel it would be a much better experience if the classes were seperated like they are in the selection menu's.

For example, the GT1 cars have overpowered the GT3 cars in rankings, which means that on some tracks you can't load the WR ghost for GT3 because they are outside the top 30.

For some reason, If you are driving a GT3 car, it will show the GT1's top time under vehicle record in the loading screen.

Same thing goes for road cars and track day cars (looking at you McLaren P1 GTR). I wish we could really see the top road legal cars times on the Nordschleife.

Finally, I haven't been able to load my own ghost recently.. just the WR or "vehicle record" which is in a different class/league. I miss the ghost automatically appearing when you complete a lap.

These have just been my thoughts, curious to know if anyone feels the same way/has any other suggestions. :cheers:

I totally agree...the leaderboards should be split into the car classes on the menu eg 'Road D'

oh yes totaly agree !!! I have startet a time atack trial in a different forum but it is not really possible with this mixed leaderboards.
 
Yep that would be nice, they do still have the option to look by car as well which is nice but the way the so called classes are does not make a lot of sense. All road cars seem to be considered the same class as does all open wheeled cars which means a go kart ends up in the same group as the formula x and the Ford Raptor ends up in the group with the McLaren P1 not much chance of any competition there.

Meanwhile the Nascar is in a class all by itself but can not post a time on the leaderboard :confused:
 
Frustrating and annoying with this.
Frustrating because I can't post Formula Rookie times without being drowned by Formula X/A and annoying because on PC they have leaderboards for EACH CAR INDIVIDUALLY!

This happened in Pcars1 and it is something SMS needs to patch for consoles.
 
I swear I read earlier on the official forums that there's a reason for this and it's a console limitation, but I can't for the life of me find the post now. But unless I've totally imagined that, I wouldn't be too hopeful about this being changed.

I also remember, think it has to do with (limited?) resources on console.
