leaderboard ideas

Hey, Im not sure if there is a thread for this already so I apologise in advance if there is one.

I had a couple of ideas which might make the leaderboards more interesting. If we had filters to use it would be good to narrow results so we get more stats to look at and also more people can feel competitive.

Ideas I had could maybe be: driving aids (traction control, active steering, abs), ds3 users, nationality, and even a filter for which car people use.

Also like in the wrs it is possible to see peoples individual splits, which could be a nice addition to see where others are quicker, rather than just the top 10 via there replay in the live timing screen.

Also maybe different tyre options could be run so we could have a couple of different leaderboards. With different gold silver and bronze times, and different tunes necessary for softer tyres.

Just some ideas, sorry if there is a thread already, I just had the idea and Im using my phone at work.

If I remember correctly a great man once said " it's all under the process of evolution"

Sadly i'm not sure if that man is longer with us as this evolution seemed to stop at 4 leaderboards

As for your idea, we have a filter. You can compare your times with your friends...what more do you want from the great man?

Lol, yeah. On the subject of evolution you could say the laguna tt is pretty much heading for extinction.

Yeah that's a good point actually. They must have all of the data to make it possible to view splits & specs.

And a similar filter design to the drop down menu in the gt home garage could be used to select how to 'sort' the results.

The tire idea was probably a bit farfetched but a simple filter could be quite easy hopefully. And just gives everyone a few new parameters to the competition. To aim to be fastest without using abs or a certain car, or country. Could make it more competitive on a few different levels.

And being able to view everyones splits (like wrs) can be good at seeing where your losing or gaining time on other racers around you.

Good idea... filter by country and cars selected..

I think an other thing they should add is an option to make the oil change of all the cars they need it in your garage... and option that will told you the car list on witch oil change is needed ... , than select the cars you want to change oil... shows it will cost you 350 050 $ and click yes... and all your garage car are ready.. same thing for engine and body would be great... cause it's too long to do it one by one, and the animations when buying a car , oil change, etc... should be remove it's unnesscessary the first time it's ok but once you saw it don't need to see it again..

and we need online oil change...
