Let me start off by apologising if this has already been answered but before I started this thread I did search but to no avail.
Firstly let me explain a little about myself.
I have been a massive GT fan ever since the series began. I purchased a PS3 yesterday mainly so I can play GT5/Prologue. Although some of my family think im mad buying a console on the strength of a game I personally feel its worth every penny. I am also an owner of the Xbox 360 and have played games such as PGR3/4 and Forza 2 and its some of the features from these games that im hoping are included in GT5 prologue.
Myself and my friends who have also purchased a PS3 for prologue are what I would call hardcore racers. We would all spend hrs going for laptimes on Forza 2 and would think nothing of spending 3hrs just to shave a tenth off our laptime. Apart from competing against ourselves we used to aqquire many top 10 laptimes on numerous leaderboards. So with this in mind here are my questions.
(1) Leaderboards, How many times will be recorded on each track or is it based on each car and will it be top 10, 50, 100?
(2) Will you be able to view your friends laptimes on a seperate leaderboard?
(3) Ability to be in a private chat whilst playing Prologue?, This is one aspect we used to love on Forza 2 because we would tell each other our new laptimes and would also discuss racing lines, tuning set ups.
I would be grateful if you could answer these questions.
I look forward to racing you online and I would like to add that we all race fairly. Our attitude is if you can't win fairly then don't bother winning at all.
