Ive recently put a league together ' www.TheAutomotiveMayhem.com ' for 24 people (current membership 20) that i know and are good clean drivers, its only been running for about a month now and despite a few teething problems that were to be expected its running well, but although the league is in its infancy many of the drivers are top class acts from day 1 of gt5 and vetrans of the past gt games, what i wanted to set up purely for the enjoyment of it was a league vs league clash, maybe 6 of our best vs 6 of another leagues best, like i said the leagues address is www.theautomotivemayhem.com , the site is only for PC/Mac at the moment but i am making a PS3/ipad version (what with work and the league, time is a precious commodity), if any admins from another league wants to try this idea out please contact me by posting in this thread or at theautomotivemayhem@homail.co.uk , We ourselves only want to do this with another clan who want fast clean and fair racing without getting too serious about it and getting dirty, if someone is interested in this idea please check the TAM site rules to see if the leagues are compatible (most of the rules are as you would expect but im sure we could work something out if there are any differences), who knows it could even become a regular season calandar event for both leagues !!

p.s. we run sunday and wednesday nights in two groups, the first from 9.00pm GMT, the second from 10:30pm GMT

Suprised you have no interest in this CJ, as you and the guys you race with are crazy fast, would make even some of the top guys on GTP sweat!

If you ever fancy it, I still got 5 or 6 over at gbracingclub I could pit againts your guys. Le me know.

I'm glad you're putting a team together, but it is against the AUP to ask people to come to your site.

How would league vs league be organised, as at some point you would have to promote your site, or do we have to get permission from GTP Admin first?

"Without proper authorization" means you need permission, yes, but I don't know if you'll get it. It's just the rules, I wish I could help.
 
You see it is tough to find these groups and clans, obviously you have the big ones, GTP being one of them etc. I was thinking of posting up a thread to ask for all of the web addresses of all the different clans and clubs as a resource for different clans and sites to arrange competitions among themselves as pretty much every guy who is signed up with another clan or GT5 site is a GTP member also.

I may well take you up on your offer of a league vs league race, and btw many thx for helping us out after our Season 1 finished on putting together a set of cars that would be competative without any one car being the obvious choice, man its really hard work and a little bit nuts that you have to go back to power/weight to do it lol .... wasnt that what PP was for? if only PP worked better at evening cars out it would save me an age setting races up!!!!
Anyway you set me on the right track and we ended up with 4 cars that have about 2 tenths of a second between them, would have been ages without your guidance m8 !!!

To the other guys in this thread : As for promoting my GT5 site, i do apolagise I didnt realise that i had oversteped the rules, my site has no advertisments and does nothing else but to serve the needs of our league and nothing else.
Despite this, the second ive finished typing this post i shall get on to the proper channels to seek permission
 
We're ready. 8 vs. 8. Two 1hr races. Each pick a track and car for their event. Drivers awarded pts by position. Team with the most pts over the two events wins. We'll try to find a date we can do this. For our side looking at a Monday at 6pm eastern
 
Hey Fish, we can get that going no worries, may be a few weeks now, as were racing a clan called core next weekend , then a clan called Scol, but as soon as that is over ill give you a fr on the PS3 and well see if we can make it work
