Leaked - Facebook coming to PS3?

Just as Xbox360 owners are getting Facebook, the PS3 version might be coming soon as well as other features.

What do you think, are they genuine or fake

Update: Sony has confirmed this, Facebook coming to PS3 via firmware 3.10 http://blog.us.playstation.com/2009/11/playstation-3-firmware-v3-10-update/

Exactly my thought, why would I want to browse the internet on my PS3 when I have a computer that can do it better a foot away.

Than again with the way some people are, if they don't have facebook on every electronic device attached to the internet they will go insane.

Maybe we can access Facebook from the in-game xmb while we are playing a game? Like with the friends list on PSN?

I have to agree with you. I just dont see the point of it. A PlayStation is for games. Why would you want to Facebook

Exactly, Sony is (in the long run) trying to eliminate the need of a desktop computer. I'm pretty sure the PS4 will be able to run a special version of Windows.
