wal mart employees leaked info... AGAIN about a game system :dunce:
this time the 360.
set to release on the 4th of november, a friday, very unusual,
it will also release for $299 USD.

I'm not going to say it isn't true. But I'm really not one to believe a walmart employee when it comes to this type of stuff.

Another ignorant comment. The DS sold loads, and the 360 will probably do the same.

d00d, are you stalking me or something? Or do you like trying to make yourself feel in some way powerful? I can understand making a point, but putting someone down constantly is more than a bit irritating.

Define "loads" when you say the DS sold a lot; and tell me exactly how you know the 360 will do the same--I mean exactly, mathematical proof.

I can gaurantee the ONLY reason the DS is selling is because of the price and MAYBE a few of the games.
 
Well over 5 million is quite alot. The DS sold well because it's a cool little machine.

And if I need to explain why the 360 will sell well, over here and in the US at least, then you really should just stop playing games.
 
You're right. They won't sell a lot THAT's for sure. Who needs a mathematical proof to know that the first new-gen console will sell a lot. Every cool emo kids will go and buy on and they'll be cool and respected at school. :rolleyes:

BTW, the PSP is a cool little machine, too. Tell me how well it has sold since you apparently know everything.

Well... not really as cheap as I had hoped, but still a good deal !
 
I'd really hate to see the australian price if that equals $532us. Does that mean MS will get more money for selling it for that much in europe than in the US if the price is to be $299?

there are additional costs for MS in Europe, like import taxes and other tax laws ingeneral, then transport costs .. although that huge difference cannot be justified with these things... then again.. it has almosst 10 GHertz and a lot of power, more than a 1500 $ gaming machine...so I don't complain... hell, if that price difference is true I just import it from the US...

250 EUR for the console... 50 EUR shipping and 20% tax = 360 EUR maximum... so that's fine for me
 
I read there will be two versions. $299 with just system and a controller. $399 gets you the media remote a second controller and the 20gig HD makes sense with media remote.

ds sales = 5mil +
psp sales = close to 2.5 mil
360 = nov 4th and $299 for base system. supposedly. just got to wait till the october xbox360 event...thing... in amsterdam
