A new game coming by Valve/Steam, and it looks pretty cool.

Basically, it'll pit you and 3 other people against a horde of zombies.
A co-operative multi-player action game developed by Turtle Rock, creators of Counter-Strike. Left 4 Dead is built atop the most advanced version of the Source Engine and introduces version 2 of Turtle Rock's artificial intelligence (A.I.) technology.

It sort of reminds me of what Dead Rising could have done.

I heard about this game last month, also the online mode works the same like Zombie Panic a Half-Life mod, which has been out for years.
 
This game looks quite fun, but I'm guessing its PC only?
 
Yeah, the preview Steam has shown on its News update was great. The cornfield level sounds badass. Still a ways to go, though.

Edit* Ah, that's a different one. I'll try to re-find the one Steam showed. It had news about the Farm level.

Don't know about a PS3 version, but I've read the Xbox folks may get it as well, so I don't see why not.
 
What? Valve... oh. :sigh: Wait, what? co-op? What? will be on the 360? nice. March 15th? oh...
 
The demo is now available! It's pretty big though, but it contains 1 level, and is supposedly available for 4-player co-op online. Will give my thoughts tonight as it's still downloading. 1.21Gb.

I played the X360 demo with friends and its THE game of 2008, the reaction from me and my friends while playing over live was pricless when a group of literally 100+ zombies came at us from three directions
 
i wish voice chat was included. :p i played a bit w/ some buddies over teamspeak.

Not yet though I am going for the console version. I am tired of my laptop crashing because of graphics.
 
The demo pwns MASSIVELY !...

I played the 2 courses 5-6 times on Sunday, ordered the game, preloaded and it's ready when I get home !...
 
i dunno... i cant afford any games right now... i still havent beaten far cry 2 or company of heroes and i just got those... and then there's iracing and RL. I may buy it anyways heh. I was impressed with how smooth the animation is when fighting zombies. The animation seems well done. graphics are okay. There's so many games coming out this week and next week >_<
 
Wow left 4 dead &#8230; wow I haven&#8217;t been this into a zombie game since the very first resident evil came out for ps way back when. I love the fast paced game play soo much.
 
A bit disappointing because it's not all that realistic. Also disappointing because you can't shoot both hand guns with both triggers. Not worth it at least at full price.

You playing on XboX or Steam ?... Have had a couple of late nights lately with friends blowing up Zombies :-)

Best game I've played in a long time - And with TeamSpeak, it's even better !...

Steam. Had to lay off a bit because I was about to get tired of playing it. lol:scared:
