legal issues?

would it be illegal if i downloaded moon over the castle to play during gt5? I thought it was just a game ost song but when i went to download it , it said you must delete the song after 24 hours have passed. What do i do?:nervous: I really want the gt5 moon over the castle!
 
Find it on the interwebs and legally download it.
 
Just download it, it's not like they put it in the EU/NA versions anyway, only the japanese version. :/
 
I love that track. It's currently one of my racing bgm but the GT4 version which is to me better than the GT5 version.

First of all it doesn't matter if it was 'just a game ost song', if it's been officially licensed, copyrighted and released for money it's illegal to download it for free unless it has been offered for free by the creator, just like any other song.

Secondly the 'download and delete after x hours' is a strange internet myth that you can download things illegally for a 'trial' and if you delete them quickly it's legal. That is absolutely not the case, a copyright breach is a copyright breach, no matter how long you have it for.

So if you really want the song then buy it, otherwise you'll be acquiring it through illegal methods.
