Hi to all.

A friend usually have less HP then usual, even when the cars are maxed out.

In the gt500 class the honda arta after 300km's with all the tune (motor and turbo stage 3, oil change) should have 649hp, but in his game the car have 640hp, all the cars maxed out have less horse power then should have.

Any tip on this?

Thanks

Put a real car on a dyno, and tell me the numbers match the advertised figures.

What?
I'm not talking about real life, a friend couldn't reach the same horse power that we could reach in all cars.
In the GT 500 less 9hp its not bad at all, but in a Mini its complicated playing online with less hp then the others.
All the cars maxed out in his game have less hp then the cars of his friends, maxed out.

If you tune one car to the max after 300 km's it will have the same hp in all players, but he don't have the same that we have.

Change oil regularly and do a engine rebuild if necessary.
Hope that helps. :)

Thanks but that don't help, as i told in my first post its not a noob, we are racing with the max hp, we put the new cars to do at least 300km in bspec, and change oil to get the max hp, but usually he have less 9hp then we.

Hmmmm.......
It should go up instead of down??
Make sure power limiter is at 100.
If it is maybe you bought a defective car  .

Lol, no, it's with all cars, if you send him a car with 409hp, he will have 400hp car.

The engine has permanent power loss after a certain number of miles.

I think it's 8,000km; but I'm not sure so everyone feel free to correct me.

But I'm certain about what I said regarding the power loss. After a certain amount of miles/km the engine will have to be totally refreshed (note: not rebuilt, REFRESHED) and then you will over come the permanent BHP loss.

Okay let me clear all this up.. You are in Portugal, your HP actually says BHP correct? I'm most other countries they have just HP which is a different measurement.. It's something like BHP= 1.018 to 1 HP.. So they have the same power it's just a different measurement! Hope that finally clears this up.. And please ask your friend to be correct before you tell me I'm wrong! :)

While that's largely correct, BHP and hp are identical (in the game and often used interchangeably in real life).

European metric horsepower is the culprit in what you say. The CV/Ch/PS (1 = 75kgm/s) is around 1.014hp (1 = 550lbft/s).

In the instance cited in post 1, 649 metric horsepower is equal to 640 Imperial horsepower (649/640 = 1.014). So it rather looks like MJRL is using sensible horsepower while his friend is using silly metric horsepower.

Ok, solved, he is Portuguese but he use is ps3 in English, so the HP show's bhp instead of CV.

Thanks all for the tips.
