Lesser known older space games that are still fun to play, they don't even have to be that old, right know i am playing privateer vega strike Gemini gold, one of the best 3rd person space adventure games, and you can play it for days and still cant beat it, very good game with superb detail. http://vegastrike.sourceforge.net/
Also I like a game called VGA Planets 4, its a very big strategy game that can have up to 30 players (I think), if you have the time it is a great game. I think you can play online but it is a little old, if you put the time into it you can have major fun. There are many senarios and you can make your own, same thing with the race's. So what are you lesser know space games that are still fun.
