Since the timed qualifying was presented on GT6, when the time ends, the qualifying ends abruptly and don't let us finish our lap, as it does on endurance races (timed races).

Obs.: I didn't find anything related to this on search, lock it if anyone already asked this.

This is an interesting question, but it has to be limited.... What if you were 2 seconds into a new lap on the 'Ring? ;)

Well, in all motosport categories, you get a extra lap with that, it also should in GT6. If you want to race on The Ring, you have to be prepared for long stints, am I right? :p

The only exception I can think of is Le Mans and that is due to the road sections have to be reopened to the public legally by a set time during those sessions. Otherwise, indeed. Very good point.

Yes this is crab i mean not realistic....

Good suggestion. Perhaps there could be a time limit at the end of qualifying to finish your final lap, like the one in races, that can be set as high as 180 seconds.

But then you would have jackasses that would turn around and start doing laps backwards and your session will never end.

There is a time limit for the qualifier.... This is talking about a secondary after that timer is done. A secondary timer would cover ^^^ that problem.

Exactly.

At the same time.... if you are going to a time limit.... Why extend it.... ? (shrug) Personal preference will win out. I just hope for options.
