What would you think of a GT classic edition? IDK, as an expansion or stand alone game.

But anyway, it will feature racing cars from the early days of formula one, and old tracks that either changed or no longer exist. It would be ranging from the early 1900's to the 70's where they had the Porsche and Ferrari rivalry in Lemans .

A good idea although I must add that featuring early F1 in a game using a moniker "GT" which stands for Gran Turismo (italian for Grand Tourer which stands for luxury car designed for long distance driving) is a bit oxymoronic.

I'll add further by saying that at one time there was a great racing sim called "Grand Prix Legends" which did exactly what you've just proposed. I don't know if you can still purchase GPL which was published by Papyrus and was developed under the direction of Dave Kaemmer who happens to be the guy responsible for iRacing. There are still mods for GPL- tracks and cars and some who are still playing it.

Tho that would be cool, PD can barely handle the game they have now. That's why they moved to that new massive building.

Nice idea, but it would be hard to map an old circuit that no longer exists with the detailed methods they use these days.
