Why does a level 23 race require a car that you can only buy when you are at level 24?

It's stupid. It's the Formula Granturismo car.

It's sickening.

Someone at PD is either terrible at math or they are sadistic.

Probably one of the many over looked things in game. prepare for posts from the search police if they haven't already hit by the time i hit the submit button.

Yeah, I usually write-off most complaints as people just being cry-babies. But, c'mon man. The race is at 23. The car is level 24. Something is seriously jacked about that.

There's so much to do you should be well over that level, no?
I'm level 23 and have only just golded all the amateur A spec which needs a maximum of level 9.
Do some licence tests or seasonal events in particular for lots of xp.

i'm glad i had to wait ages for the gt to turn up, i've just started using it and i know going back to the other cars is gonna be so slow, its given me more time to get some of the other races out the way

Wow, I never noticed that one. I must've been at lvl.24 already when I went to buy the FGT at UCD.

Well, before the 1.05 patch, the xp was dished out in smaller batches. I was doing every event, every special event, and license tests (except Super). Even after that, I still had to grind some races to get to level 24 and buy that FGT (and wait for it to pop up into the UCD ).

Thankfully, with that patch they added Seasonal Events which give you gobs of XP (and credits), they increased the XP you earn for winning the standard A-Spec events, and they made some of the really hard-to-find cars like the FGT and DTM, JGTC, trucks, and historic cars more readily available to purchase with the Online Dealership.

//I also had to walk 10 miles in the snow with no shoes. Uphill both ways! :dopey:

Thanks for the replies. I know there is plenty to do to get to level 24 (and it shouldn't take TOO long) but I was excited about this race and disappointed that I cannot yet buy the car.

I did try searching but as is often the case the search terms I could think of did not bring up any relevant posts.
