Hey fellow racers,
Wow, I think I've died and have gone to heaven! What a site! I found GTP a few days ago and I still haven't been able to pick my jaw up the floor. What a plethora of useful info.
I digress. RollingThunders' the name. I'm a 30-something gamer and proud of it! I've been a Gran Turismo fan since October '01 and love the series. These games have been a very therapeutic aspect of my life for about 10 years. After blowing my know out in a half-pipe in 2001, my gf at the time bought me a PS2 and GT3 for something to do while I was laid up...which turned out to be about 6 months of inactivity and a year in physical therapy.(unfortunately, the injury was so severe, it impacted 90% of my life...haven't been in a skate-park or half-pipe since 2001). It wasn't uncommon for me to have 12-14 hour sessions, not including the endurance races. I've been hooked ever since. After completing GT3, I went out and got GT1 and GT2. After spending the last few days lurking I thought I'd join up with y'all. I can't believe the amount of useful info here! You guys are going to SO improve my A game!(no pun intended
).
I live in south east Mass, unfortunately. yeah, I'm a masshole, sorry! Anyway, it's awesome to be here! And with that, I have a question...I've been perusing the tuning garages and noticed that some people take requests for tuning.....I was curious if and were I could ask for someone to verify some tunes I have done for myself. I don't race online...I hear too many horror stories about dirty drivers and all sorts of problems with going online so I don't deal with it. Last night I was comparing some of my tunes with some I found in the garages...I was surprised at similar some of the tunes were. So, if I wanted to get some feedback on my tunes, where would I ask and am I going to be charged for it? Reason I ask is I saw someone charging for tunes over in the tuning garages.
So, anyway, there's my schpeel. Thanks for reading and happy racing!
