Level of racing Nürb 24h vs. new seasonal Nürb

I'm posting the question here, since it is a question, but please move it to the seasonal category if needed.

Is the level of racing in the 24 hour Nürburgring similar, less competitive or more competitive than the recent seasonal race (17.8.2011 version). I'm wondering whether the top cars in the 24h race drive at a similar pace, because the top Minolta clocks about 7:50 times. Do that's fast.

I haven't unlocked the Nurb 24 hours endurance, but I do know that's not fast compared to what you can do with a Minolta, I can tell you that much.
 
Well my standard Ford GT test car beat em all easily!
 
Group C / LMP and GTS / GT1 do not race it in real life. Audi R8 LMS does.
