Welcome.
My state of mind towards tuning a car and my style of driving are aimed towards having fun while still being fast, and generally in an underdog vehicle. Think of driving on a track day rather than all out racing. The new V2.10 PP system has blessed me with miracles in what used to just be my collection of old bangers, and soon you'll get to know why.
It is rare if I tune a car with the purpose of being unbeatable. So to help understand what to expect from this garage, please watch this video. Skip to 1m:20s in order to get straight to the point.
I understand my tunes will not be for everyone, but I hope I can bring smiles to people's faces when they try them out. As I said, I aim my tunes towards my driving style, which is very much on the extreme of using the slow in, fast out policy, and also making sure to use every inch of the circuit. In other words, I abuse toe numbers and weight distribution to achieve sharp turn in and good traction on corner exits.
A lot of people say "You're doing it wrong", but what I do works for me and it has helped others in such things as winning the Seasonal Events or achieving high payouts through low PP tuned cars and yet these extreme toe numbers and ballast have been able to top the GT Academy car Time Trials.
I will be adding my tunes over the next few days. Up until V2.10, I generally tuned for 420PP and 550PP, but now this new system has me interested, and my PP range has shifted to 400, 420 and 500PP vehicles.
I'll provide details or a short description along with each tune, and possibly the occasional video clip either for demonstration, or showing a win in a difficult/low PP attempt Seasonal Event. I'll start getting my first tunes up in the next 24 hours or so.
Rememer to have fun!
