Consoling Hamilton over the winter period, however, are ever increasing signs that he could be about to embark on perhaps the most financially-lucrative career in the history of the sport.

The Independent newspaper reports that he is considering floating himself on the London stock market, with a 10 per cent share in his newly formed company to potentially fetch about $100m immediately.
Yes, you read that right. Ignore the sour grapes from Button and you'll see Lewis Hamilton is considering floating himself on the stock exchange. He is selling himself.

There's no other way I can put this: Lewis Hamilton is becoming the world's most expensive prostitute.

LMAO! Wonder what's going to happen when he retires from the sport.

The FIA might ban him if he does that, though. Can you imagine if McLaren or even other teams held substantial shares?

Wow. I'm shocked.

And people said it was over the top when he authorized 4 official biographies before the season finished...

THAT selling himself? Isn't it his company, or wherever he is? So, it's not the celebrity stock market? If he's starting a Formula One team, then maybe not.

Or, it could work in the same way as the celebrity stock market...

As long as Hamilton has a good team, Jenson Button is just envious.

You know he had to get this and the biography ideas from frickin' Puff Daddy.

What "company" is Lewis starting, and for what purpose, exactly?
What purpose does any PLC have? To make money! Lewis is likely practically certain to be a huge cash cow for many years to come - he's only 22 and will be the one of the hottest properties in the sport for the next 3-5 years (all but guaranteed). With sponsorships already coming out of his ears, it makes perfect sense to invest in LHPLC, if you ask me...

I tried to turn myself into a corporation once... I was president, my mother was vice president, my father was secretary, my grandmother was treasurer, my uncle was on the board of directors, and they got together the first week, and they tried to squeeze me out. I formed a power-block with my uncle and we sent my grandmother to jail. She's learning a trade, I'm happy to say...

Something about investing my hard-earned money in an already-wealthy person just to make him richer doesn't sit well.
