License Requirements

Moderators. Could you explain why so much information is required when entering times for the license tests? I was going to enter some license times but then found that info such as Drive Train, Weight and HP was a required field. Why is all this so necessary when presumably the car is standard across all formats.
I can understand for circuit practice but not for the licences. Do you not think this needs to be changed? Cheers.

I agree, I just submitted some licence times and copied the info from whoever else had submitted theirs.
But it's tedious and I don't want to submit any more now
