Hello Everyone, Im new to the forum but not new to the GT world. I bought GT5 when it first came out but finally 3 days ago I was able to remove it from the shrink wrap and played it. First thing I did was the License test. Im really picky about these License test since GT3 I will try until I get gold on every test. However, not trying to sound cocky or a douche, is it me or the License Test in GT5 is much easier than previous GT games?? So far I only played 2 days and I already have 39 golds in the license test up to iB.

Another question I have is right now im in need of money to buy a decent car to do races. I aquired a few cars from the license test. I was wondering if I sell these cars to get money, is there a way I can buy it back or win it back later? I also collect cars. Thanks and hope to add some of you to my friend list for a friendly race.

Don't sell the cars, you hardly get anything for it.

It's definitely easier for some reason (maybe better physics, or playing GT over all the games is to blame). I think it's compounded by the fact that not only did the previous licenses make us work exceptionally hard (don't get me wrong, there are some difficult license tests here also), but the slight change in difficulty allowed us to breeze through the tests as we were conditioned to achieve a different level of perfection.

Although since licenses don't do anything in this game......

That having been said, IC-10 is hard (the only one i found difficult), and then once you get to AMG driving academy and X2010 challenge you will have some difficult times in getting gold (not to mention the Gran tour with 8C).

With the new update, license AI has been improved, so the lap challengs are probably easier as they won't run into you, DQing I presume.

I sold them. Some of them are indeed of use, and a few cannot be obtained later either. I didn´t care, I don´t want my garage cluttered with odd concepts and kei-cars I would only use in one race because I have to.
I decided to buy the cars when I need them and sell them again when I´ve used them for whatever race needed.
I haven´t actually turned a wheel in anger yet, but I am at lvl 12 and have two cars - beside the kart - an M3 and a Viper GTS and more than 250 000Cr. in the bank, only from licenses, special events and three b-spec races.

It is so much more easier to do the licences. I would just go through the game, do the licences and special events and the seasonal events. You might find a use for them later and if you are collecting, then keep em. I never sell and haven't needed too.

You'll do fine! Its later on in A-spec (Im Level 29, will be 30 with the seasonals lol) that you will have trouble. I mean getting about level 29 but I have alot to do so im sure you'll be fine!!

After the latest update (1.06), the race license tests are much easier. Prior to the update, the slightest tap against an AI car (even if they hit you) would get you DQ'd. It appears that you can now hit the AI drivers as hard as you want as long as you don't hit a wall. Makes it much easier for less skilled drivers, although I imagine it will also encourage reckless driving online.
